In our greenhouse are herbs, large tropical plants, bedding plants, flowers, garden starts and house plants that we grow for sale.

Produce
In our garden we have 7 types of tomatoes - roma, big boy, better boy, big girl, beefsteak, yellow (low acid), and cherry tomatoes, - okra, zucchini, yellow squash, green, red and yellow peppers, jalapenos, habaneros, anaheim and banana peppers.

Our fall crop will have snow peas, green beans, winter squash, yellow squash, and corn.

Local Farm Tours

One area of interest for me is to witness the wheat harvest! Along with the fields of Winter Canola that are in full blume right now, the wheat harvest is something to see that is for sure!
Send me an email and let me know what you would like to do! See a hog farm, dairy, large cattle ranch, horse ranch? One thing to do is to tour a local COOP, with the silo's standing so tall. There is one right here in Aline, actually there are several around here that can be seen off in the distance from Shady Hill!
Out here you can also enjoy wildlife photography and bird watching both of which are great pass times. Since it is spring, the Scissor Tails have returned! Oh, and on Shady Hill there are always new baby animals to see. Right now we have baby chickens, goats, and rabbits!

Just let me know in advance when you would like something and I will bake it and have it fresh and ready for you!
